Ken Stewart

CHAIRMAN

Ken Stewart is Chairman of AFS Global. He is internationally respected and recognised for his skills and experience over many years in Marketing, Sales and in International Business Development. Having graduated in Politics and Government and in International Development & Business Studies, he chaired the United Nations Association (Scotland) working group, which researched and analysed the track record and historic performance of International Development funding. He was then appointed as Adviser then Chairman of the AFS Group where he championed their successful development programmes into Africa which emphasise pursuing ethical business strategies, strong corporate integrity, transparency, community engagement and the coaching and development of entrepreneurial skills.

Festus Ogunmola (aka Olatunde)

CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Festus Ogunmola (aka Olatunde) is Chief Executive of AFS Global. Festus is a Chartered Accountant and Banker. He has 30 years’ experience in international Banking and business development with particular emphasis and expertise in Compliance, Corporate and Risk Management. He has enjoyed executive roles with First National Bank of Chicago, Barclays Bank in the UK, Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds. While based in London, was CFO for HM the Queen Mother’s Nursing Institute and Fund. As well as his current role as Executive President of AFS Group, He is chairman of Zuluss.com where he has responsibility for E-Commerce business growth in Nigeria and Ghana. Festus has been engaged as Senior Consultant for Cummins Inc. for Europe, Middle East and Africa, FMC Technologies, and Spirit Inc (An Aeroplane Manufacturing Company in Preswick Scotland). His reputation for corporate transparency and accountability has complemented his entrepreneurial skills and earned him respect and recognition both in the UK and in Africa. He operates closely with the United Nations UNCTAD division and presents key corporate papers on their behalf which amply demonstrate his experience in successfully introducing and implementing business development and transformation solutions which create sustainable legacy platforms to assist disadvantaged nations. Festus is an MBA graduate of University of Manchester Business School, a member of United Kingdom Business Continuity Institute and Harvard School of Divinity Summer Leadership Program. A philanthropic founder of Greatway Foundation that has delivered several life changing community projects on behalf of the Scottish Government.

Sir Chris Grey

SPECIAL ADVISER

Sir Chris Grey is the Special Advisor of AFS Global. Christopher Grey has more than 20 years’ experience in international entrepreneurship and consultancy. Also a director of Atlanta based SYGEC International, his various roles currently include; International business consultant for finance, development and trade in the Sub Saharan Africa territory, Consultant to Global Private Corporations and Government Ministries on corporate engagement, infrastructure and socio-economic development.  Christopher has extensive international, diplomatic and corporate relationships and a strong personal background in foreign affairs. This includes a thorough understanding of the multicultural sensitivities required for diplomatic public relations and project development within diverse communities with a particular focus on achieving realistic objectives.  Christopher Grey has also been communications strategist and public relations consultant to top global corporations and international public figures. He has long-standing direct relationships and ties with government officials across the world including: USA, UK, Jamaica, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Gambia, Nigeria, Kenya, South Sudan, Liberia, Cote D’Ivoire, Sri Lanka. A dedicated humanitarian Christopher Grey leverages his high level international associates and partners strategically with public figures, major corporations, businesses and private donors to provide immediate solutions to numerous charitable causes, community social issues and public relations within Sub Saharan Africa.

Dr. Rosemary Gituma

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Dr. Rosemary Kinanu Gituma is the Business Development Director, a Chartered Accountant, Former Vice-Chair of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), and a member of several bodies and associations. She has over 25 years of extensive experience in Strategic Management, Financial Management, and Business Administration. Of significance, Dr. Rosemary has earned respect for her professionalism and entrepreneurial skills while working in Government, State, NGO, and Private Sector businesses in fields such as Financial Services, Estate, and Commercial Development and in the service sector including East African Portland Cement, Numerical Machining Complex, Coca-Cola, Care Kenya, Kenya Airways, Deloitte, and Kinanu & Associates. She is currently CEO of East Africa and the ‘Comesa’ Region for TACT which provides technological, IT, and corporate ‘transactional’ solutions for African business. She is also CEO of Eastern Africa for the AFS Group, Founder & Chairperson of FRUITSS Leadership Africa (FLA). As a confidant and adviser to the Kenyan Government, she actively participates as a Key Expert and Adviser in Kenya’s Trans-African Business Development and Trade Delegations including those into Kenya, Eastern Africa, South Africa, Germany, Belgium, Israel, Hong Kong, Botswana, Mauritius, France, Greece, Turkey, Switzerland, Australia, UK, Jamaica, Barbados, Canada, USA, Luxembourg, Finland, Sweden, Middle East, Singapore, and Indonesia. Notably, Dr. Rosemary is an Advisor of the World Bank in Contract Management and is a Rotarian. Among other accolades, she was honored with the UN Africa Leadership Business Award in September 2019.
